Hi,
Dartmoor letterboxer just surfed in!
Do i understand you U.S. boxers mainly carve your stamps?
You might like to learn that there is an alternative which can be just as rewarding and satisfying.
If you have a graphics software package on your computer you just need some inspiration an a little imagination.
Design your stamp in a black & white image then send it off to a rubber stamp manufacturer for the image to be made on a polymer self adhesive sheet.
Cut out the stamp and mount on a backing of your choice.(plexiglass is good).
To give you some idea of cost, a A5 sheet of stamps would cost around
$25
I love the idea of bema's all round stamp, i don't recall seeing one like this on Dartmoor.
Happy Letterboxing
